Porter, Kenneth Wiggins, John Jacob Astor: Business Man, Cambridge: Harvard University Press, 1931, two volumes bound in maroon cloth, gilt lettering on spine, frontispiece portrait of Astor, 8 1/2 x 6 in.; Muir, John, The Story of My Boyhood and Youth, Boston and New York: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1916, number 690 of 750 copies of this limited manuscript edition, nine volumes bound in green cloth, gilt lettered brown leather spine label, with a clipped page of original manuscript pasted down following the half-title page, frontispiece photograph of Muir, pages remain uncut and unopened, illustrated throughout, (incomplete set with volume 6 of ten not present, some fading to spines and smalls chips and scratches to spine labels),9 x 6 1/4 in.; Lady de Lancey, A Week at Waterloo in 1815, New York: E.P. Dutton and Company, 1906, half bound in blue morocco with marbled papers, gilt lettering and stamping on spine, frontispiece engraving of Major William Howe de Lancey by Emery Walker, (foxing throughout, light wear to corners of boards, and slight cracking at joint),8 x 6 in.; Strickland, Agnes, Lives of the Queens of England, London: Henry Colburn, 1844, twelve volumes half bound in blue polished calf with blue cloth, gilt lettering and stamping on spine with brown spine labels, frontispiece of Matilda, consort of William the Conqueror, (some foxing predominantly at beginning and end of volumes),8 x 5 in.; Evelyn, John, Memoirs of John Evelyn, London: Henry Colburn, 1818, two volumes fully bound in diced calf with blind-tooling on front and back boards, gilt lettering and stamping on spine, marbled endpapers, full marbled edges, bookplate of J. Garbett Walsham on pastedown, two autograph letters pasted in from Samuel Romilly to Walsham, frontispiece engraving of Evelyn by T. Bragge, illustrated with plates throughout, (light foxing, some separation between front board and spine at joint),12 1/4 x 9 1/2 in.; The Letters of Robert Browning and Elizabeth Barrett Browning, London: Smith, Elder & Company, 1900, two volumes fully bound in purple polished calf, gilt lettering and stamping on spine, full gilt edges, frontispiece portrait of Robert Browning in first volume and Elizabeth Barrett Browning in second, 7 1/2 x 5 1/4 in.; Letters Written by the Late Right Honourable Philip Dormer Stanhope, Earl of Chesterfield, London: Eugenia Stanhope, 1774, four volumes fully bound in brown leather, gold stamped and lettered on spine, red and brown leather spine labels, frontispiece portrait of Philip Dormer Stanhope, bookplate of previous owner on pastedown, (slight chipping to spine),8 3/4 x 5 1/2 in.
