Note: Philip Deland Stone, born January 7, 1873, Newton, Massachusetts, is a son of Lincoln Ripley Stone, surgeon to the 54th Massachusetts Regiment, and Harriet Hodges Stone. He died of typhoid August 22, 1890, at Colorado Springs, El Paso, Colorado.
