Zola, Emile (1840-1902),Autograph Letter Signed, Paris, France, 4 May 1895. Two-page letter on single leaf, addressed to an earl thanking him for some materials he sent, Zola continues that he has decided not to get involved in the Merolli divorce and concludes by asking if it is possible to have a report on pilgrimages to the room where beatifications happen in Saint Peter, (old folds, some staining to second page),8 x 10 1/2 in.
