White card, 28 February 1940, signed by Yarnell accompanied by his rank and retired status, 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 in.; white card signed by Legeune with his rank, (small stain near u.r. corner),2 1/4 x 3 1/4 in.; single-page letter, Washington, DC, 25 April 1906, on Admiral of the Navy letterhead, to DeWitt Miller, Dewey writes that there is no truth to the story told in the clipping he received, (staining, toning, old folds, chip l.r.),10 1/2 x 8 in.; single-sheet document, 17 December 1918, Halpin gives permission for Sgt. Frank Kirli's leave of absence, stamped in center and u.r. corner, (old folds with minor loss u.c.),3 1/2 x 8 1/4 in.
