Single-page typed letter Washington, DC, 22 September 1928, on Supreme Court of the United States letterhead, to Robert J. Harlan in which Taft thanks him for a birthday letter, (old adhesive staining, old fold),7 3/4 x 5 3/4 in.; single-page typed letter 13 November 1922, on White House letterhead, Whitings Woven Linen watermarked paper, to Rufus S. Day confirming Harding's appointment to meet with him next Thursday, (old folds, the Taft letter with old adhesive staining on back page),8 3/4 x 7 in.
