George III (1738-1820) Two Documents Signed. Single-leaf document signed 8 February 1762, commissioning Lucius Ferdinand Cary as Major of the 74th Regiment of Foot as well as Captain of a company, (old folds, residue from where seal was originally affixed),12 x 16 in.; single-page document, 12 November 1789, stipulating a payment of one hundred pounds for one year as of Royal Bounty, (old folds, small tear on fold line),12 3/4 x 8 in.
