Cleveland, Grover (1837-1908) Document Signed, Washington, DC, 29 June 1885, and Photograph. Single-page document on Executive Mansion letterhead, to Gerry W. Hazelton suspending him from the office of attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, on Ledger 1885 watermarked paper, (old folds with minor tearing and chipping, remnants of old mounting on reverse, small stain in l.r., remnants of adhesive above Hazelton signature),9 3/4 x 8 in.; accompanied by an albumen photograph with "Grover Cleveland" written underneath, mounted onto cardboard with red ink border, stamped "Shaw Collection" on reverse, (minor tear in carboard at bottom center),6 1/2 x 4 1/2 in.
