Staffordshire White Salt-glazed Stoneware King of Prussia Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1770, globular form, with crabstock handle and spout, the shallow-domed cover with knop finial, polychrome enamel decorated ermine-ground reserved on each side with oval cartouches, one with a portrait of the King wearing laurels and titled above "FrePrussiaeRex," the other with a crowned eagle with flags and titled "Semper Sublimis," ht. 4 in.
