Rosewood Veneer and Inlaid Portico Clock and Stand, France/Belgium, mid-19th century, shaped case with inlay including scrolled vines, fruit, and flowers, a pair of hoho birds flanking either side, embossed gilt-brass frame to a simple enameled dial, no maker's name, with matching stand, overall ht. 20 1/2 in.
Provenance: Ker Arvor, Newport, Rhode Island.
