Meissen Porcelain Rothschild Bird Partial Dinner Service, Germany, early 19th century, each with gilt trim and polychrome enameled birds and insects within foliate festoon and ribbon borders, including a covered soup tureen and stand, stand lg. 15 1/4; two covered oval bowls, lg. 8 1/4; two triangular serving dishes, lg. 11 1/2; two square serving dishes, lg. 7 3/4; two square serving dishes, lg. 10 1/4; four leaf-shaped dishes, lg. 9 1/4; two shaped oval trays on scrolled feet, lg. 10; two shaped circular trays on scrolled feet, dia. 9 5/8; eight candleholders, ht. 3 1/2; two shallow serving bowls, dia. 8 1/8; two wine coasters, dia. 5 3/4; serving bowl, dia. 10 1/2; nine demitasse cups and eight saucers, saucer dia. 4 3/4; and sixteen plates, dia. 9 1/4 in.; crossed swords and star marks.
