Thirty-two-piece Wedgwood Jasper Chess Set, England, early 19th century, modeled after an original design by John Flaxman, based on characters from Shakespeare's Macbeth, white figures on two-tiered dark blue and lilac bases, impressed marks, ht. 2 1/8 to 4 1/4 in.

Lilac: Restorations to the queen's upper hand; a leg to a horse of a knight; shield of one pawn.
Blue: No evidence of any damages or restorations.
