Marquetry Bombe Longcase Clock, Huygens, Amsterdam, dome-top case with winged figures at the sides and Atlas in the center, glazed hood door and engaged columns over the composite brass dial marked as above along the lower edge of chapter ring, roman numerals, fully engraved center with recessed date and applied seconds dial, cast brass "four seasons" spandrels, engraved and painted moon's age dial in the arch, the waist door fully inlaid with floral basket and birds, and pierced pendulum aperture, lower bombe section inlaid with floral cornucopia all resting on bracket feet, eight-day time and strike, weight-powered movement with Dutch striking, regulated by a brass-faced pendulum and two cast iron weights, ht. 100 in.
