Birch Desk Bookcase, New Hampshire, late 18th century, the top section with molded cornice above two hinged doors, with recessed shaped and molded panels opening to valanced compartments and shelves, with two candle slides below, set into lower section of slant-lid desk with stepped cockbeaded interior of valanced compartments and drawers, all on cockbeaded case of drawers and base of bandy legs with shaped knee returns and pad feet, original red wash, replaced brasses, (minor imperfections),ht. 88, wd. 41 3/4, dp. 21 1/2 in.
