Set of Six Chippendale Carved Mahogany Side Chairs, possibly Salem, Massachusetts, c. 1760-80, the serpentine crest rails carved with a fan and flanking leafy scrolls, above the carved and pierced splat with overlapping carved scrolls, flanked by carved and beaded stiles, on overupholstered seats and square legs with blind fret carving and square stretchers, old finish, (repairs),ht. 37 1/4, seat ht. 17 in.
