Flock or Consistory/Ten Bird's Heads. Each work signed in pencil, further identified on labels affixed to the reverse. Oil pastel on paper, each work 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, framed and matted together in two rows of five, overall sight size 18 5/8 x 39 5/8 in. Condition: Good.

N.B. In a playful twist, the artist, who was also a priest, devised the delightful title Flock or Consistory to describe this gathering of cardinals. In the Catholic Church, a consistory is a council of Cardinals, with or without the Pope.
