Weeks, who served as Mayor of Newton, Massachusetts, from 1902-1903, United States Representative for Massachusetts from 1905-1913, United States Senator from 1913-1919, and Secretary of War (under Presidents Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge) from 1921-1925.
