Condition: Lined, retouch, fine craquelure.
Provenance: Newhouse Galleries, Inc., New York; through to Sotheby's New York, British and Sporting Paintings, May 27, 2004, Lot 261; to the current owner.
N.B. Theophilus Jones was a Welsh lawyer, known as a historian of Brecknockshire.
