Condition: Surface accretions, varnish discoloration, fine craquelure, surface grime.
N.B. This landscape is a copy after a large painting by Oswald Achenbach in the National Museum in Warsaw, Poland. Although less familiar to modern audiences, Oswald and his brother Andreas Achenbach were considered premiere landscape painters in 19th-century Germany, and Oswald was most noted for his Italian subjects.
