Signed and dated indistinctly "Hayley Lever/19..." l.l., identified on a presentation plaque, identified, titled, and dated to 1925 on a label from Clayton-Liberatore Art Gallery, Bridgehampton, New York, affixed to the backing, inscribed with the artist's name in a later hand in pencil on the reverse.
Oil on canvas mounted to board, 16 x 20 in. (40.6 x 50.8 cm),framed.
Condition: Minor surface grime, craquelure.

Framed dimensions: 24 1/2 x 28 3/8 x 2 1/2 in. Fluorescence in areas of background is believed to be natural, pinhole to l.l. corner below signature.
