Provenance: Eunice Leopold; by descent to the current private collection, Massachusetts.
N.B. Eunice Leopold owned and operated Galerie Philadelphie in Paris during the 1950s and 1960s. The gallery's roster included Vieira da Silva, as well as François-Xavier Fagniez, and Manuel Cargaleiro, among others.
