N.B. We would like to thank Jonathan Zorach for his assistance cataloging this piece. Mr. Zorach commented that according to the thesis by Roberta Tarbell this piece is entitled "The Performer," but also "Draped Female Figure," "Draped Figure," or "Standing Figure." Some of these names appear to have been given by art dealers when the piece was sold either at auction or in a gallery. There were six casts made of an original that was in the collection of Bella and Sol Fishko in New York when the Tarbell thesis was written. The original dates to 1925.
Estimate $1,000-1,500
