The Fossil Whale, from the series Moby Dick Engravings, 1991, edition of 22 plus proofs, published by Tyler Graphics, Mount Kisco, New York (Axsom, 201). Numbered, signed, and dated "12/22 F. Stella '91" in pencil within the image l.l., publisher's dry stamp within the image l.l. Etching and aquatint with carborundum and relief printing in green and black on paper, image/sheet size 75 1/4 x 53 3/4 in. (191.2 x 136.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Deckled edges, floated within the frame, not examined out of frame.

Framed dimensions: 80 1/2 x 60 in. Gentle rippling, no other visible condition issues to report. Due to the size and nature of the framing the work has not been examined out of the frame in order to reduce the risk of handling marks and creases.
