Abraham Francen, Apothecary, c. 1657, an 18th century impression (Bartsch/Boon & White, 273 x/x). Unsigned. Etching on laid paper, plate size 6 1/4 x 8 1/8 in. (15.8 x 20.7 cm),framed.
Condition: Margins about 1/8 in., repair to very corner u.r., toning, staining, minor nicks to edges, pencil annotation and collector's mark (see below) to verso.
Provenance: Ex-collection of Reverend James J. Burleigh, England, according to stamp on verso (Lugt, 1425).
