The Tribe of Levi, from the suite Twelve Maquettes of Stained Glass Windows for Jerusalem, 1964, total edition of 235, printed by Charles Sorlier, Paris, published by Éditions Fernand Mourlot, Paris (Mourlot, CS14). Signed "Marc Chagall" in pencil l.r., numbered "59/200" in pencil l.l., signed and with publisher's name in the matrix. Color lithograph on paper, image size 24 1/2 x 18 1/4 in. (62.2 x 46.3 cm),framed.
Condition: Subtle toning, not examined out of frame.

The sheet has staining along the edges, as well as ink staining to the verso. It is an Arches watermarked paper deckled right and lower edges and measures 30 1/4 x 21 1/8 in. There are minor crimps and nicks to some deckled. Text on verso as published. The frame measures 31 x 22 x 1 3/4 in.
