Two Papuan Gulf Bull-Roarers, Kaiaimuru, Gulf Province, Era River delta, Papua New Guinea, wood bull-roarers, the larger with central raised ridgeline, both undecorated, each pierced at top, with metal stands, lg. 23 1/2 and 16 1/2 in.

Provenance: Private collection, Westport, New York; John and Marcia Friede collection, Rye, New York; collected by Thomas Schultze-Westrum in 1966.
