Pair of Wedgwood Gilded and Bronzed Black Basalt Oil Lamps, England, c. 1885, each oval, with fluted neck, oak leaf border and acanthus and bellflowers to lower body, one modeled with a classical maiden holding an open book; the other with a maiden pouring a jug, each ht. 8 3/4 in.; impressed marks.

Maiden with book: Cover with finial replaced; two slight flakes along rim; end of spout restored.
Maiden with jug: Cover with finial replaced. No other evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
