After Julian Causse (French, 1869-1914) Sculpture, likely France, late 19th century, spelter, gilded nymph on a dark green finish shell with aquatic plants, marked "J. Causse" on shell, ht. 12, wd. 10 in.
Note: Causse studied in Paris under FalguiƩre, exhibited at The Salon des Artists Francais in the 1890s, and took part in the exposition Universelle of 1900.
