Note: Nordio is a trained cinematographer and photographer. He was hired in 1980 to produce a series of definitive monographs on important modern glass artists from Murano which inspired him to design his own pieces. In the early 1990s, he began his career as a studio art glassmaker. Nordio has collaborated in workshops at Pilchuck, Niijima, and Murano Centro Studio Vetro.
