Description:
Set of Six Lobby Cards for "The New Klondike" by Ring Lardner, c. 1925. Note: The New Klondike follows the story of fictional baseball star Tom Kelly, who plays for the "New York baseball club," a team obviously based on the New York Yankees, who, in the 1920s, were at the beginning of what still stands as one of the longest periods of sustained success in major league sports, during which they won several World Series Championships.
