Chippendale Cherry Desk Bookcase, New London County, Connecticut, c. 1750-60, the upper section with molded cornice and two tombstone-paneled doors opening to compartments, set into lower section with slant-lid opening to an interior of valanced compartments and concave and convex blocked drawers, the center section pulls out to reveal two hidden drawers, above a case of cockbeaded drawers on ogee bracket feet, ht. 75, wd. 38, dp. 20 in.
