Shaker Red-painted Case of Twenty-three Drawers, attributed to the workshop of George Wilcox, Enfield, Connecticut, mid-19th century, the dovetail-constructed case and drawers with original red paint, replaced pulls, ht. 29 1/2, wd. 31 1/2, dp. 7 3/4 in.
Provenance: The Shaker Collection of Brenda and Charles R. Muller, Canal Winchester, Ohio.

Note: George Wilcox died February 27, 1910, and is buried at the Shaker cemetery.
