Rare Gilt and Molded Sheet Copper Goddess of Liberty Weathervane, attributed to William G. Henis, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, c. 1860, the flattened full-body figure with a proud upward gaze, wearing a tunic and long flowing skirt, holds one arm gracefully outstretched, the other bent upwards holding the flagpole with an undulating American flag of thirteen pierced stars, old weathered verdigris surface with some regilding, ht. 34 3/4, overall lg. 29 in., on custom stand.
