Set of Four Red Spatterware Peafowl-decorated Cups and Saucers, 19th century, the pearlware pieces depicting a peafowl with blue head, yellow body, and green tail, the saucers each with an impressed floral mark, cup ht. 2 1/2, saucer dia. 6 in.
Estimate $300-500
one saucer with shallow edge chip 1/2 in. long; other saucers with minor rim roughness. Color varies slightly from piece to piece but doesn't appear faded. One saucer with very minor cracking at rim, other saucers with glaze spidering on underside within the foot. All problems are quite minor.
