After Albrecht Dürer (German, 1471-1528),The Harrowing of Hell, 1512, from the Small Engraved Passion, a very late and dry impression (Meder 16, e/e; Hollstein 16),monogrammed within the block, engraving on paper, plate size 4 1/2 x 2 7/8 in.; and After Adriaen van Ostade (Dutch, 1610-1685),Le Gourmet en Compagnie (The Breakfast), c. 1664, signed in the plate, probable photo-facsimile print after the original etching, image size 7 1/2 x 9 3/4 in. Condition: Hell trimmed close to the plate mark, Breakfast with toning and pale staining, not examined out of frames.
