Late Afternoon. Signed "H.R. Ballinger" l.r., inscribed and signed "Painting Demonstration Late Afternoon H Ballinger" on the stretcher, titled "Late Afternoon" in ink on a printed label from The Ballinger Gallery, New Hartford, Connecticut, and Rockport, Massachusetts, affixed to the stretcher, and with the artist's printed biographical sheet also affixed to the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 25 x 30 in., framed. Condition: Minor canvas rippling, minor surface grime.
