First edition, quarto, publisher's tan cloth boards with gilt stamping, printed dust jacket, with thirty-three tipped-in photogravures with tissue guards of prominent men of the early 20th century, (jacket with loss at bottom of spine and bottom folds, and a couple closed short tears, endpapers toned),12 1/4 x 9 3/4 in.
