Gothic Mahogany Astronomical Floor Regulator, gothic mahogany veneer case with lancet-top hood and three pyramidal finials over the glazed round brass dial door, glazed gothic waist door flanked by chamfered corners, and the base with a pair of inset gothic panels, 16-in. silvered astronomical dial, three blued-steel hands, heavy brass time-only movement with jeweled dead-beat faces, maintaining power, brass dust covers, and a silvered beat scale, powered by a single brass-cased weight and regulated by a single-jar mercury pendulum with engraved brass regulating knob, ht. 107 in.

Overall very nice condition, Some veneer cracks. Case refinished, movement complete but has not been tested. Has not run for a decade plus according to the consignor. Finials probably old replacements. Silvering to dial appears to be original. Weight old replacement.
