John Osgood Cherry Tall Clock, Haverhill, New Hampshire, c. 1800, fret-top case above the freestanding reeded columns, roman numeral painted iron dial with moon's phase in the arch, seconds, and calendar aperture, large pierced iron hands, and geometric pattern spandrels, brass-top quarter-columns flanking the beaded-edge waist door, inset lower panel base on ogee bracket feet, eight-day, time and hour-strike movement with half-moon cutout plates, regulated by a brass-faced pendulum and two cast iron weights, ht. 88 in.
