Signed "J.C. Nicoll. N. A." l.l., signed or inscribed with artist's name and title on the stretcher, titled on a label from the artist affixed to the stretcher, label from Gill's Art Galleries, Springfield, Massachusetts, affixed to the back of the frame.
Oil on canvas, 24 x 40 1/4 in. (61.0 x 102.2 cm),framed.
Condition: Minor surface grime, 1-inch puncture to canvas near left edge at center.
Provenance: Purchased in the 1960s by the Weiser family of Holyoke, Massachusetts, owners of the Community Savings Bank of Holyoke.
