Signed "G.H. McCord A.N.A." l.l., title suggested on the artist's fragmentary label affixed to the frame.
Oil on canvas, 14 1/8 x 24 in. (36.0 x 61.0 cm),in a period, probably original frame.
Condition: Paint losses, craquelure with active flaking, old retouch, canvas deformation, surface grime.
Provenance: Purchased in the 1960s by the Weiser family of Holyoke, Massachusetts, owners of the Community Savings Bank of Holyoke.

Framed dimensions are 24 1/2 x 34 1/2 x 3 inches. Frame with a fragmentary label from a Boston art store. Active flaking is concentrated primarily to a 4 inch area of cloud on right, minor varnish inconsistencies to the landscape in foreground.
