Signed "Aronson" and stamped "28/250" in the bronze at the back lower edge, dated to 1969 in Aronson Sculpture catalogue raisonné (see below).
Bronze with a dark brown patina, height 10 1/4 in. (26.0 cm),on a wood plinth.
Condition: Minor area of oxidation and scattered wear to the patina.
N.B. The lot is accompanied by a copy of Aronson/David Aronson, Paintings, Drawings, Sculpture, published by Pucker Art Publications, Boston, 2004. The book includes a catalogue raisonné of his sculpture; Virtuoso is listed on page 163.

Overall dimensions are 10 1/4 x 11 1/2 x 8 1/2 in.
The wear to the patina is more pronounced at the tips of the proper right side of the figure's beard. There is some minor oxidation there, too, in the concave areas. Very minor wear to the patina at some of the ridges of the bronze. Some dust and dirt to some of the interstices.
