Standing Male Nude Leaning Against a Tree Trunk

Pen and ink on laid paper with partial text from a handwritten letter on the reverse (see below), 5 1/2 x 3 3/8 in. (14.0 x 8.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Loss to l.l. corner, creasing, staining, old mounting remnants on the reverse.
N.B. The text on the reverse is cropped but appears to be some kind of form letter to request monetary support for the poor of a parish. There are blanks left in the text to complete the request and to specify the date, ending "...shall be your sufficient servant/...seal this [blank] day of [blank] m/Reigne of King William."
