Les Saltimbanques, 1969, proof edition of 25 outside of the edition of 50 (Mourlot, 591). Signed "Marc Chagall" in pencil l.r., numbered "Epreuve d'artiste XI/XXV" in pencil l.l. Color lithograph on paper, image size 22 3/4 x 15 3/4 in. (57.7 x 40.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Gentle toning, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: Purchased from Wally Findlay Galleries, Inc., Chicago, Illinois, in 1973; by family descent to the current owner.

Framed dimensions: 27 1/2 x 35 1/4 in., sheet size: 30 x 21 in. Various levels of staining to the margins on recto due to acidic window mat and glue, staining on verso. The print image is evenly light stained, two tape hinges to the upper corners on verso affixed to the window mat, no further condition issues to report.
