Two Different States of Darkening Sky, 1925, proof C-1 and proof E-2 (Paff, 253). Both signed "FrankW.Benson." in pencil l.l. Drypoint on paper, plate sizes 4 7/8 x 6 5/8 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Some edges deckled, pencil annotations l.l., fingerprints and minor soiling to margins.

Provenance: Descended within the family of the artist.
