Small Shaker Butternut Swing-handled Rectangular Carrier, New York or New England, c. 1850, the dovetailed box with riveted ash handle, (small crack in handle),ht. to top of handle 6, wd. 6 1/4, dp. 4 1/4 in.

Note: A similar carrier was offered at Willis Henry in 2004, and attributed to Canterbury, New Hampshire.
