Cherry Serpentine Chest of Four Drawers, school of Eliphalet Chapin, Connecticut, late 18th century, the top with blocked ends above a case of four scratchbeaded graduated drawers, on molded base of ogee bracket feet, replaced brasses, ht. 35 1/2, wd. 44, dp. 20 3/4 in.
Estimate $1,500-2,500
top and one side refinished, drawerfronts and the other side in older surface. minor repairs to base - regluing, new glue blocks, a couple of small replacements.
