Mahogany Serpentine Chest of Four Drawers, probably Connecticut River Valley, late 18th century, with molded top, scratchbeaded graduated drawers, and molded base with shaped bracket feet, replaced brasses, refinished, ht. 34, wd. 44, dp. 20 1/2 in.
Estimate $600-800
repaired cracks to feet, replacements to some glue blocks, but feet are original. drawers are clean and work well. minor shrinkage crack at right top edge of top, and some other minor surface imperfections (at front edge of top, and around pulls).
