Blue-painted and Paint-decorated Bench, c. 1820-30, the rectangular crest joining thumb-back posts above thin horizontal slats and short arrow-shaped spindles, on deep plank seat and turned legs joined by flat front stretchers, old blue paint with gilt striping and white-painted stars, ht. 36, wd. 76, seat ht. 17 3/4 in.
