Pair of Mocha "Seaweed" and Slip-decorated Pearlware Covered Urns, England, early 19th century, the bodies and lids with mocha "seaweed" against a brown slip field bordered by bands of blue and dark brown slip and diamond rouletting, on a stepped base with ring knop stem, the lid with round knop, the body with molded lion mask faux handles, (repair),ht. 6 1/2 in.

One urn has evidence of repair on the foot (sprayed surface),one lid has an approx. 1 3/4 in. repair on the rim, the other lid has been broken and reassembled and has some associated retouch on the exterior.
