After William Morris Hunt (American, 1824-1879)
Head of a Woman. Unsigned, inscribed "244" and "TL15764.3" in pencil on the reverse, with a small sticker "244" applied to the reverse. Charcoal on gray paper, 18 3/4 x 11 3/4 in., framed. Condition: Sheet with three deckled edges, left edge unevenly trimmed, hinged to back mat near upper corners on the reverse, horizontal crease at center, creases l.r., scattered handling creases, gentle rippling, crimping near edges, foxing, toning, scattered stains and small punctures.
